چکیده
Abstract Pulsatilla turczaninovii is an important medicinal plant, valued for high ornamental value of melliferous flowers. We assessed the efficiency reproduction under in vitro conditions and ex situ growth capacity this representative world flora. The seed germination percentage was assessed, followed by determination micropropagation rate rooting efficiency. Then, possibility plant development three consecutive growing seasons assessed. approximately 55%. highest multiplication coefficient, amounting to 5.17, obtained on modified MS medium supplemented with 2.5 mg L −1 2iP 1.0 IAA. Our study provided unique insight biochemical background root regeneration P. . In comparison standard auxin-supplemented medium, treatment level ethylene precursor ACC elevated about 20%. total content soluble sugars proved be biomarker rhizogenesis studied species. Their concentration positively correlated efficiency, while a phenolic length regenerated roots, their number per rosette. cultivation acclimatized material successfully carried out evaluated over subsequent years. third year cultivation, plants entered stage generative most them bloomed profusely.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Why does the flower stalk of Pulsatilla cernua (Ranunculaceae) bend during anthesis?
Flower stalks of Pulsatilla cernua, an early spring herb in north temperate Asia, changed position from erect to pendulous and back to erect during 6-10 d anthesis. We tested three possible explanations for this movement. Our results showed that (1) this movement is unlikely to be a mechanism to attract pollinators or enhance pollen output, because no pollinator preference was observed between ...
متن کاملHighly polymorphic microsatellite markers in Pulsatilla vulgaris (Ranunculaceae) using next-generation sequencing1
PREMISE OF THE STUDY We developed novel microsatellite markers for the perennial plant Pulsatilla vulgaris (Ranunculaceae) to investigate the effects of fragmentation on gene flow in this imperiled species. METHODS AND RESULTS We identified microsatellites and developed primers based on 454 shotgun sequences. We identified 14 markers that were polymorphic and produced clean bands. Of these, e...
متن کاملChemical composition of anther volatiles in Ranunculaceae: genera-specific profiles in Anemone, Aquilegia, Caltha, Pulsatilla, Ranunculus, and Trollius species.
Anther volatiles of 12 Ranunculaceae species distributed in six genera (Anemone, Aquilegia, Caltha, Pulsatilla, Ranunculus, and Trollius) were investigated by thermal desorption of anthers in quartz microvials inserted into a modified injector. Chemical analysis (GC-MS) yielded a total of 116 compounds from which 103 compounds could be identified. A great diversity of compounds was observed, in...
متن کاملGenomic Resources of Three Pulsatilla Species Reveal Evolutionary Hotspots, Species-Specific Sites and Variable Plastid Structure in the Family Ranunculaceae
BACKGROUND The European continent is presently colonized by nine species of the genus Pulsatilla, five of which are encountered only in mountainous regions of southwest and south-central Europe. The remaining four species inhabit lowlands in the north-central and eastern parts of the continent. Most plants of the genus Pulsatilla are rare and endangered, which is why most research efforts focus...
